EDT Equipment fault reporting

Any equipment borrowed by a student is done so under specific Terms and Conditions. The student is responsible for reporting any faults or accidents found with the equipment. If it is not identified at the time, it is possible that the next student who borrows the equipment will find it not working. There will be no time for it to be repaired for them to use.

EDT equipment booking procedures

The EDT Department is very fortunate to have it's own equipment for students to be able to use. Any equipment that is installed and normally stored in a dedicated EDT Lab is for use in that lab ONLY. No equipment is allowed to be taken out from a Lab if it is dedicated to that teaching space. Other EDT equipment is available for students to use on EDT projects as well as for Academy productions. There is an order of priority for access to the equipment.

  • EDT Department assignments and projects
  • Academy productions
  • Other projects and productions

Please take into consideration that there might be other people who want to use the equipment and it is sometimes necessary to compropmise. Please be considerate.
